an old smith once told me to put my anvil on an angle so the scale falls off...he also told me to tap the hot metal and beat the fire.

odds and ends
some things i made this week. Picking hammer for removing old pointing, new handles for a lead shot mold, stainless hook with lots of filing, and a ring pull.
